Plot Summary
Manohar (R. Madhavan) is a software engineer who lives with his wife Priya (Neetu Chandra), his brother Manoj (Deepak Dobriyal), his sister-in-law Sujatha (Dhritiman Chatterjee) and their children. They move into a new apartment on the 13th floor of a building called 13B. Manohar notices that the lift does not work for his floor, but works for the others. He also finds that his milk gets spoiled every day and his newspaper is always delivered late.
One day, he comes across a TV show called Sab Khairiyat (All is Well), which features a family that resembles his own. He becomes addicted to the show and starts following its advice. He soon realizes that the show is predicting the future events of his family and that they are in danger. He also learns that the show is being telecasted only on his TV and only when he is alone.
He investigates the history of the apartment and finds out that it was previously occupied by a family of four, who died in a fire accident. The fire was caused by the husband, who was having an affair with another woman and wanted to get rid of his wife and children. The wife's spirit, who was watching Sab Khairiyat on TV when she died, is now seeking revenge on Manohar's family through the show.
Manohar tries to stop the show and save his family, but faces many obstacles from the spirit and the people involved in the affair. He also discovers that his apartment number is not 13B, but 13+66=79, which is an unlucky number in Hindu numerology. He finally manages to expose the truth and end the curse with the help of his friend Shiva (Murli Sharma), who is a police officer.
